My friend and I were watching a Wife Swap marathon a couple of weeks ago and I sort of don’t like it because I’m not sure I support the idea of drastically changing the way someone else lives for your sole benefit/satisfaction or to mimic our way of life. There was this one episode where this blonde wife was married to this huge nerd and she was so mean and demeaning and snobby and not at all compatible with him and I felt like why did she marry him??? Why did he marry her??? Why did they come to a decision to be bound legally and emotionally when she did not understand his love for Star Trek or even pretend to care about him?
