so I just wanted to say that nerdfighteria isn’t just about like, donating to charities and helping your communites, it’s a lot more than that! I keep reading posts like that! for example some nerdfighters say, “oh I’m a bad nerdfighter, I don’t do anything, I just watch the videos,” but sometimes it’s just good to be a friend, you know! make people feel better about themselves instead of being a total jerk.

nerdfighters are supposed to be like the heroes of the world, you know? that’s how i’ve always looked at it. some people just don’t realize that nerdfighteria isn’t just a fandom, it’s a community. you don’t have to have money, you don’t have to read john’s books (although you definitely should), heck! you don’t even have to watch most of the videos, you just have to want to make the world suck less to be part of it. 

I just really think nerdfighteria is about acceptance and helping people in any way that you can.
